Discuss the core geometry and component scope for a U-frame motor design.
Share your drawing and project needs so we can review dimensions, materials and supply scope for your design.

A U-frame description identifies a core or frame shape; it is not a complete specification of the motor’s electrical design. Procurement therefore starts with the actual stamped profile, the pole and rotor relationship, and the space available for winding and mounting.
Send a readable U-frame drawing together with the mating rotor or assembly drawing where available. Minfai can discuss laminations, core stacks and related metal parts within a defined project scope. Clarify whether winding, shading rings, bearings or other components are part of the request before comparing supplier quotations.
| Requirement | Information to include |
|---|---|
| Frame and pole shape | Stamped outline, pole gap and the features that locate the mating rotor or assembly. |
| Winding envelope | Available space around the core and any drawing features needed for the customer’s winding operation. |
| Fixing features | Mounting hole positions, tabs, slots and the agreed inspection references. |
| Core construction | Sheet thickness, material, stack length and the required loose-sheet or stacked supply form. |
The outline is only one part of the specification. Pole geometry, fixing references, material and stack length need comparison with the assembly drawing before compatibility can be evaluated.
Start with clear photographs, the intended motor application and the required supply form. Discuss how to establish a current drawing and measurable acceptance requirements before committing to a production order.
Share your drawing status and project needs to agree the next step.
