Discuss laminations and laminated core requirements for a DC motor project.
Share your drawing and project needs so we can review dimensions, materials and supply scope for your design.

DC motor component sourcing should distinguish a brushed armature construction from a brushless layout. The name “DC motor” does not determine whether the required part is a rotating armature stack, a stator stack or another magnetic component. Identify the exact laminated part shown on the drawing.
For a brushed DC armature inquiry, review the slot profile, bore and stack references that affect winding and shaft assembly. Where another DC motor architecture is used, send the complete component relationship as a reference. The order should separately identify core supply and any additional shaft, commutator, magnet or winding operations.
| Requirement | Information to include |
|---|---|
| Construction type | Brushed armature, brushless stator or another clearly identified magnetic part. |
| Slots and bore | Slot opening, bore specification and drawing references for later winding and shaft fit. |
| Finished stack | Stack length, alignment and any orientation or end-feature requirements. |
| Project scope | Material, quantities, sample criteria and the list of included components and operations. |
Those are separate scope items. Specify the lamination or stack required and list any additional components or operations for review; the quotation defines what is included.
Provide the motor construction, a component drawing and an assembly reference. This makes it possible to identify the core without assuming that every DC motor uses the same stator and rotor arrangement.
