MINFAI · COMPONENT FAMILY
Rotor laminations and finished laminated rotor cores made to project drawings. Matching and construction requirements can be reviewed with the stator design.

Rotor laminations and rotor core stacks form magnetic components used in rotating motor assemblies. Their geometry depends on whether the project concerns an armature, an induction rotor or another rotor construction. Minfai can review individual rotor laminations and finished stacks from the supplied component drawing.
Start with the shaft bore, outside profile, slot arrangement and axial stack requirements. Identify the drawing datums used to measure these features and the fit requirements controlled by the motor assembly. Separate the core order from any shaft, casting, magnet, winding or balancing requirements so the agreed supply stage is explicit.
| Requirement | Information to include |
|---|---|
| Shaft bore | Bore dimensions, shape and the mating shaft reference used for technical review. |
| Outside and slots | Rotor outside profile, slot geometry and any orientation requirements on the drawing. |
| Stack requirements | Axial length, alignment and the inspection method for the finished stack. |
| Delivery boundary | Loose laminations or finished cores, plus a clear list of any additional operations requested. |
A finished core is the specified lamination stack. A rotor assembly can also include a shaft and other motor-specific components or processes. The quotation needs to define each requested item.
The rotor drawing can define the bore, but a shaft or assembly reference helps establish the intended fit. Provide the critical mating requirements and inspection references whenever possible.
